i I had a bonus of £22 and had to wager it 75x. I done this and won £2225 playing various slots. During the wagering I placed 3 bets with the bonus buy. A box flashed up saying maximum bet was £2 with a bonus. The spin was for 0.20p and there was no option after the box appeard to cancel and it processed with the bonus buy. I thought this was ok because it was for a 20p spin. So the bonus by was £20 each time I used it. For the times I used it I didn’t make more than the £20 used to buy it. I was told all my winnings were confiscated because of the bonus buy. My issue is those bets were made void. Meaning the vet was cancelled. I would then be in the same position if not better because I had the full £20 used for the vet rather than the winnings used from it. So thereafter the future wins couldn’t possibly have been from the bonus buy as it was made void returning me back to the original position before making the bet. The casino are refusing to honour

Thank you for replying to my concern. I was verified on 28/2/2025. I registered with the casino roughly 4 weeks before I was asked to verify.

To be honest I never thought Mitch of the pop up box. It didn’t say anything about buying a bonus. It states that max bet allowed using bonus funds was £2. The bet I was doing was 20p but by paying £20 you get the bonus round but the wager is still only 20p and anything you win is with a 20p spin. Like I thought it ment the max you could do was £2 meaning it would cost £200 to buy the bonus and that the box was informing you that. After the box there is no way to cancel it you go straight on to the bonus buy. This added to me thinking it was ok because suerly if it wasn’t allowed it wouldn’t allow u to proceed.

I last spoke 2 days ago and they said it was final I broke the rules. I tried to explain what I told you but they wouldn’t listen. They refused to give me the complaint procedure saying it was finial. I asked for a 24 hour printout of my transactions to prove that if the funds were void I would still have went on to win further. They said they would provide the transactions by email within 24 hours but I’ve not received any as of yet.

This was the first reply I got. They said that they took away the funds that were won using the bonus buy. Does that mean that the £20 used to buy the bonus buy would be returned? I’m assuming it would be and that would put me in the original position before buying the bonus round. I didn’t make more than the £20 used to bet so I would be back to the same amount of money, actually more money because I don’t win more than £20 I think it was around £14, £15 and £7 with the 3 that I purchased.

Unfortunately, the casino is correct in this matter. As clearly stated in their terms (which you have also referenced), purchasing a bonus buy over the allowed bet limit is strictly prohibited.

Additionally, a pop-up notification appeared when you attempted to place the bet. This feature is rarely implemented by online casinos, as it is the player's responsibility to monitor their bets and ensure they do not exceed the maximum limit. Only a small number of casinos actively prevent players from exceeding the bet limit while playing with a bonus.

Thanks for your reply. My overall complaint was that the casino stated they removed the funds from the wining bet which was around £14. Before I purchased the bonus buy I had £50 in the account. I bought the bonus buy costing £20 and won £14. I would still have had £30 after buying the bonus after they made the bet void and keeping the original wadger. They confiscated everything which is what I think is unfair. The pop up box is useless because you don’t have the option to then cancel the bet it just goes straight on to the bonus buy.

Since your bet was a winning one, it contributed to your accumulated balance, even if you still had remaining bonus funds aside from the winnings from the bonus buy.

To avoid such issues in the future, I strongly recommend carefully reviewing the specific terms of any bonus before claiming it. Unfortunately, only a few casinos implement technical restrictions to prevent players from exceeding these limits.
