Thought I'd reach out and see if I can get some advice on where I stand in the predicament I'm currently in. I have played on most of the main online casinos and I have recently had some issues with my bank and therefore I have been having my money paid Into one of my relatives accounts. Having removed my card details from the Royal Valley casino site I deposited £50×3 in a night via the Trustly instant bank transfer deposit option. so £150 in total I'd spent. I'd been playing the slots and after around 3 hours I'd won approximately £400 so I decided to withdraw £100 back to the depositing method and leave the rest in my account. I played for another hour and went from 300 down to £200. I called it a night and went to bed expecting to see the 100 back in my relatives account in the morning. The next day I had decided to have a quick play on the same site and then it went bad... the £200 I'd left in my balance had disappeared and when I checked, the £100 hadn't shown up in my relatives account. Slightly concerned I went to my emails to send the casino a message and they had sent me a number of messages. They said they were not paying me out any winnings as the depositing method wasn't from an account in my name. No complaints were made from my end and the money deposited was my own money. I have responded to royalvalleycasino.com and requested to have the money deposited returned to me seen as I can't get the winnings generated from that money. They are yet to respond but I've got no idea how to deal with this issue. I've uploaded money onto sites plenty of times in the past when I've had perhaps a friend owe me a small amount of cash and I have just asked them to deposit it to which ever site I'd be using at that time. I would appreciate any information/advice from the community as I'm extremely bothered by this.

Hi, unfortunately all I would say to that is that it is a violation of the casino rules. Every player is supposed to have everything in their name, so if something like in your case is in the name of a relative, then I understand why the casino took your money. I think such things are also written in the terms and conditions to avoid players using something that does not belong to them. Payment method is definitely one of them, so it's certainly something to take as advice in the future and don't use anything that is not in your name to avoid situations like this. 🙁

Hi Jaro. Thanks for the reply. I take on board everything that you are saying but I'm not sure where I stand regarding the money I deposited. If the casino doesn't allow payouts due to the terms and conditions then it should work both ways and the games I was playing with money that was never going to win anything should be given back to me. The cheeky b@st@ds are still sending me promotional emails with offers this morning despite in my opinion stealing my money.

Consider this, please: By creating an account, you agreed with the terms and conditions that you also deliberately decided to violate - your choice, not casino's. Meaning, in accordance with terms and conditions, you agreed that your winnings will be voided.

Promotions are inappropriate under such circumstances but I assume their email campaigns are managed by a 3rd party company so it will most likely take some time to update the recipients list.

Anyway, I want to make a plea to you: whenever you play in a casino, always use your own personal information.

Appreciate your advice mate. Hopefully I will someday have the time to read the terms and conditions for everything that I sign up to. How about this for a thought. Why is it the more reputable sites, mentioning no names but they usually advertise on the television, they have the software and technology to reject any payments from an account in a different name. Royalvalleycasino.com from my guess is a 2bit non regulated bunch of thieves and I don't give a shit about T&Cs. I take a gesture of goodwill from them and they can do the right thing and return my money.

My personal advice: with such a mindset, do not ever register in a casino again. Saying you do not read the terms and then calling casinos a bunch of thieves is sort of - I think you can guess.

I have never heard about such software, but given the level of regulation in the UK, for example, and the fact there is a UKGC official database, I can see where this spying and expectation come from. In any case, please do not expect the rest of the casinos to have such superpowers. Players are responsible for taking the risk because they must abide by the rules. I am not trying to be clever; I have already seen a lot of people like you and sooner or later they learn to read the terms.
