Generally speaking, when I play, I only ever use real money.

Then I always play with the default setting that the money is lost, so I see it more as a chance to win than a risk, because if everything is written off as a loss right from the start, then you can only win.

In that sense, gambling is actually a pure game of risk.

Also generell wenn ich spiele sowieso nur mit Echtgeld.

Dann spiele ich immer mit der Grund vor Voreinstellung das Geld ist verloren insofern sehe ich da eher eine Chance zu gewinnen als Risiko weil wenn alles gleich schon als Verlust abgeschreiben wird kann man nur noch gewinnen.

Insofern stellt Glücksspiel eigentlich ein pures Spiel mit Risiko da.

An interesting perspective, I never thought of it that way. So you're saying that whenever you make a deposit, you've basically already lost that money, right? 

Exactly.

I've noticed that this changes your mindset during the game, and it directly impacts the outcome. In other words, I win more often because I don't try to force it.

And if I don't win, I won't be disappointed because I expected that from the start.

Ich habe festgestellt dass man so eine andere Einstellung während des Spiels bekommt und das hat sich direkt auch auf das Ergebnis ausgewirkt. Sprich Ich gewinne häufiger weil ich nicht versuche es zu erzwingen.

Und gewinne ich nicht bin ich nicht enttäuscht da ich von vornherein damit gerechnet habe

If you have no expectations, you will never be disappointed, as you say. With some things, it's hard to take this approach, but if you can do it, I would say it's a pretty powerful weapon. The important thing, though, is to keep it healthy and not spend too much money, and to keep it under control. 

So I always took exactly as much with me as I was prepared to lose, and usually a maximum of €20-50.

That's a pretty good budget. If you manage to win, it could be pretty cool.
