I'm not sure what it would achieve filing a complaint with casino guru? I came here originally due to the forum to help/share advice on getting deposits back. Radka, we have clashed before on this and I won't go into it again but I need to pull up this comment "Using an incorrect merchant code doesn't necessarily make every deposit an act of scam". This is wrong - gambling is a restricted MCC for a reason, regulated goods which carry a high fraud risk. VISA and Mastercard very clearly in their rules state that you can only use this code if you are a fully compliant and verified merchant category - Special Merchant Category. Failing to use this code completely changes the accounting principles of the transaction, the taxation treatment and means it can be hidden as something else. By definition it is money laundering. You don't need to be a legal expert to work it out.

I'd take your point if you were online paying for groceries and it showed on your card as electronic goods - this is where a minor miscoding has applied. For highly restricted and regulated goods you can't just put a grocery or electric code - it is restricted for the reasons outlined.

Also children use debit cards now - by not using the correct coding for gambling you are opening the door for them to gamble online because nothing will be age restricted! Rules are in place for a reason.

The biggest issue is that they’re 100% scamming. The fact they have to use a different merchant code to even received the transaction because they know they can’t transact with UK players under the gambling act 2005 under section 33. Then if you get to deposit chances are they will give you the run around when it comes to withdrawing. For instance I deposited said amount on a casino in Curacao went to withdraw, was told my account was banned due to playing from a restricted area yet they allowed me to deposit multiple times over two weeks.

The chargebacks have now been raised and ive also been compensated for their poor service. If I go into something with intention I firstly need to cover all aspects so it's indisputable. That's why it's important to keep all evidence as you go along. Luckily I kept screenshots of everything to strengthen my case but it's how you put it across and explain the story start to finish that's most important.

Yes raise a case here if you won the money fairly then they are good at getting the money paid out or use Casinomeister open a PAB(pitch a bitch) case they usually work as long as no T&C’s have been breached

How are people dealing with revolut when raise chargebacks but they are rejecting them as the payment to them is showing as cash/bank transfer?

if so, did you have to deduct your chargebacks or winnings from the ombudsman (let’s say it held your bank accountable) from the settlement figure?

I discussed this topic with a few colleagues. Based on that, I wanted to say this practice is, sadly, nothing new. I'm not justifying any of this, but since it has become a business standard, as I explained, Casino Gurus just can't mark all casinos as spam for using this practice. This is what I wanted to express.

Children are not supposed to play in casinos at all so despite how stupid it may sound, even such complaints ended as rejected no matter the codes or payment providers.

I repeat that I understand your opinions or points of view; however, the Safety Index or complaints just can't reflect something like this. I'm sorry. I'm only talking from my perspective, and I understand that yours is entirely unique.

Im not questioning the ratings - we had this discussion previously, I understand how your ratings work. I was questioning your comment "doesnt neccesarily mean an act of scam". It is a scam/money laundering/fraud and its not my definition - it's literally the two biggest providers of card services on the planet that are stating this and it's their service!

You need to ask yourself this question - if these casinos had any ethics or legitimacy they would apply for Special Category Status(as all legitimate MGA/UKGC etc casinos do) to accept gambling payments. They 100% know what they are doing and have setup vast merchant networks to bypass the clear restrictions. It enables them to bypass banking blocks, credit card blocks and age restrictions and to accept ANYONE as a customer from anywhere in the world.
