After reading Bloomberg’s article on Poland’s push for a stronger, EU-wide approach to illegal gambling and money laundering, I found the discussion both timely and necessary. Poland’s proposal to create a special working group under the European Commission makes a lot of sense, especially given the challenges that individual Member States face in tackling these issues on their own.
